One question I get asked often is, “How do you balance life as a wife, mom, special needs mom, having a job, and being a pastor’s wife?” It’s not easy, but one thing that really helps me is to embrace my limits.
This is my second video blog, and stay tuned, I do these every month so I can connect better with you.

Ellen, great vlog!
I’ve learned the skill to say “no” to requests for my time that threaten the balance of my life.
I no longer ask, “Can I fit this in?” but rather “Should I take this on?” It’s so empowering to say “no” what it’s appropriate.
Hi Ellen, great thoughts. I’m not watching the grandkids anymore so I had a lot of time on my hands until we bought the acreage next door, now I’m happy to have a few minutes to watch your blog. The place was trashed so we are cleaning trust me that’s cleaning is a small word for what we have to do. Now I’m looking forward to the fun stuff like making homemade birdbaths and concrete stepping stones and spheres. Like you I try to stick to a routine. Monday is wash day, Tuesday is dusting, Wednesday vacuuming Thursday is grocery list day.sometimes those are on the fly because we need to work next door. Just wanted to let you know I watched your blog. Miss you see you on your blog. Vi
