As a writer, getting published by the Huffington Post is a big deal. When I got an email from the editor saying they wanted to publish one of my essays, I cheered, I jumped, I clapped. The best part is that my daughter with Down syndrome – the one the article is about – came to cheer with me, not knowing why I was excited. That’s something she does well, she celebrates fully.
I took a couple of classes hosted by The Momoir Project. This essay is a result of one of our writing starts. I have published it HERE, and now it is published by the Huffington Post (hopefully the first of more to come)

I can now say I personally know someone who has published by the Huffington Post!
Thank you Peter! It is really exciting. Many times they said no, but I finally made it 😉
